Lisa Eaton is the Managing Director of Nielsen Media (Canada), responsible for overseeing its advertising information services and custom analytical media services.
Eaton joined Nielsen Media in 2001 as Vice President Client Service, where she ensured that high standards were achieved for its television ratings business and for its advertising information services. In 2004, she was promoted to Vice President Sales and Marketing. In 2006, when Nielsen's Canadian TV ratings business became part of the BBM Nielsen joint venture, Eaton was appointedto her current role as Managing Director of Nielsen Media.
Prior to Nielsen, Eaton was Vice-President General Manager of the Internet audience measurement company Jupiter Media Metrix, and she held key client service and marketing positions at the audience measurement organization BBM Canada for over a decade. Her early career was spent working in advertising agencies.
Lisa currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Advertising Research Foundation, and was a past Board member of the Broadcast Research Council.
Lisa is a graduate of the Business program at Ryerson University, majoring in Marketing Management. She has also completed executive management programs at Harvard University and Queen’s School of Business.
